Garry was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. Garry and his family moved to Louisville, Kentucky in 1989 and he attended Eastern High School in Jefferson County. Garry attended the University of Kentucky where he earned his B.A. in Political Science in 1996. Garry also attended the University of Louisville where he earned his law degree in 2000.
Garry has settled, mediated, arbitrated, and tried many cases during his career. Garry is admitted to practice in the 6th Circuit, U.S. Supreme Court, and the United States District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Kentucky. Garry is also a member of the Kentucky Bar Association, Louisville Bar Association, Kentucky Justice Association and the American Association for Justice.
